Welcome! What we do is train people to become
computer network engineers using Windows-based networks. Our programs are
classroom-based and instructor-led, and the finest available anywhere.
·
Ultimate MCSE Bootcamp:
An 18 day program designed for individuals who need to obtain their Microsoft
Windows 2000 MCSE certification in a timely manner. The cost is $2,995.
·
Network+ certification training:
A five day accelerated class for those new to networking. Many consider this
class a Windows 2000 prep course. The cost is $795.
Our graduates include working IT professionals
from major corporations such as Disney, NBC, Nokia, Washington Mutual Bank, and
IBM. Here are some of their comments:
“I passed every Windows 2000
exam the first time! Thanks so much! I
couldn’t have done it without you.”
“No surprises on the exams. I understood the correct answers and also knew why the incorrect answers were wrong.”
“I wasted my time and money at
other schools that used the `Official Curriculum’. I wish I’d come here first.”
“Your dedication to the success
of students is amazing. I learned a lot!”
“Absolutely no one else teaches
the material like you do.”
“The handouts were great. The instructor, Bob Curtis, did a terrific
job!”
“I finally understand subnetting
and supernetting. Even after my Cisco classes, I remained mystified. Your
approach greatly simplies these concepts for me.”
“I got my Windows NT 4.0 MCSE by
taking classes here; the Windows 2000 classes are even better.”

Questions
We
do this topic-by-topic, exam-by-exam. Presented in this manner, the material is
much easier to learn, absorb, and retain. It’s a common sense approach, yet
unbelievably, virtually no one else that we know of teaches their networking
certification classes in this way.
Beware of bootcamps that attempt to cover the material in less time. The Microsoft Windows 2000 exams are each 2 to 3 hours in length,
and there are 7 exams required for Windows 2000 MCSE certification. We believe in teaching you the material, not
merely presenting it to you by reading portions of a textbook out
loud in class. We truly want you to understand the material, rather than rush
you through it. Also, based on the topics we have chosen for the bootcamp, you
will also obtain your MCSA certification in addition to your MCSE (that’s two
certifications for the price of one!).
Our Web site is simple and designed just like our
curriculum. It’s straightforward and to
the point. You don’t need a Site Map to
navigate our Web site, and you won’t need a roadmap in the classroom to follow
our discussions.
Class
prices include all tuition, books and materials, but do not include hotel,
meals, travel or exam fees.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Why are you so less expensive than other schools
offering MCSE Bootcamps?
Low
overhead, and no salespeople. We devote our energies into maintaining the most
up-to-update curriculum possible, rather than on promotional activities for
which we would have to pass along the cost to you.
Why don’t you use the “Official Curriculum”?
Because it does not cover the material in sufficient depth. There are many concepts for which it presents only a superficial overview. And also, there is very little correlation between the `Official Curriculum’ and the exams (not to mention that it does not keep pace with periodic updates to the MCSE exams). We believe that we would actually be doing students a disservice by using it as the basis for our classes.
How
can your curriculum be better?
We believe in the old saying, “If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself”. Quite frankly, we have not seen any courseware or book that covers all of the material that Microsoft wants an MCSE to know. Hence, we’ve spent countless hours researching and accumulating an extensive body of knowledge regarding networking with Windows 2000. The result is our custom curriculum.
What
is the class size?
Typically, we have anywhere from 5 to 12 students per class. Contrary to popular opinion, the size of the class has never been a factor in the ability of our students to absorb the material and pass the exams, or to ask questions during class.
Is
there one computer per student?
Actually, we generally have two computers available per student.
How
long have you been in business?
At this location, since 1998. Prior to that, we were affiliated with another school in the Los Angeles area.
Is
there lodging nearby?
Yes. For a list of a number of quality establishments, click the link below.
Are
there restaurants nearby?
There are many fast food and other restaurants within walking distance of the school.
How
many hours per day are involved in the bootcamp?
8 hours per day in the classroom, plus about 2 hours of homework each night.
Do you guarantee that students will pass the exams?
Yes. If you do not pass, you may retake the entire course for FREE.
Our school is approved to operate by
the California State Department of Consumer Affairs' Bureau for Private
Postsecondary and Vocational Education, and our Windows 2000 MCSE program and
Network+ class both meet the rigorous standards set by the Bureau.
